What Jim Harbaugh said following Michigan’s loss to Indiana
By Paul Harvey
Published:
Things just went from bad to worse for the Wolverines.
After losing to Michigan State in Week 2 despite being a three-touchdown favorite, many fans figured things had hit rock bottom. While Indiana was expected to be a tough test, the Wolverines were once again favored heading into Week 3.
Unfortunately, Michigan was once again outmanned and outmatched while facing Tom Allen’s Hoosiers. The end result was a 38-21 win by Indiana, the first for the Hoosiers in the series since the 1980s.
That loss drops Michigan to 1-2 and will likely drop the team outside the AP Top 25 after the weekend. It is not where Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines wanted to be, and he addressed the state of the team in his postgame comments:
#Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh says preparation is not an issue. Players are working toward "trusting their talent" in games. "You know they have it in them. Just making that connection to doing it, and trusting themselves, trusting their abilities."

Harbaugh says Indiana's claps were something Michigan prepared for. That's…disconcerting
