Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh is understandably disappointed in his team following a 27-24 loss to Michigan State on Saturday afternoon.

In speaking with reporters after the game, Harbaugh dwelled on a lack of execution on third down and at the end of drives.

The Wolverines went 7-of-17 on third down, but had two key drives stall out in the second half. The Spartans forced Michigan to punt after eight-play drives on two separate occasions after half time.

Additionally, their final touchdown drive of the game took a whopping 18 plays and didn’t leave enough time for the Wolverines to complete their comeback attempt.
