Will Johnson is headed to the 2025 NFL Draft, he announced via “X”, formerly known as Twitter on Wednesday morning.
The former Michigan defensive back took time to thank the program, coaches, fanbase, family and his teammates when he released his official announcement.
“To Michigan fans, you always show up and support when it means the most. Go Blue!,” he wrote. “And lastly, to my teammates, my brothers — thank you for pushing me every day.
Johnson finished out the season with 14 combined tackles (12 solo), 2 interceptions returned for 128 yards, 2 touchdowns and 3 passes defended. The cornerback is expected to be highly sought after come April, currently sitting at the No. 2 spot on ESPN NFL Draft analyst Mel Kiper’s big board rankings.
