Michigan continued its strong play over the weekend, but the Wolverines are losing one player to transfer.

Aaron McMann with MLive.com shared the story that redshirt freshman OL James Hudson will be transferring from the Wolverines. Michigan spokesman Dave Ablauf confirmed the news Monday.

Hudson was a young player that the Wolverines were expecting big things out of. Listed at 6-foot-5 and 301 lbs., Hudson was a 4-star prospect and the No. 9 player out of the state of Ohio for 2017, according to 247 Sports.

Hudson played in three games this season as a reserve. It is initially unclear where he will be headed.
