5-star defensive lineman David Stone is continuing to show love to Michigan State as he goes through his recruitment.

He visited East Lansing for the second time this month over the weekend and raved about his experience. Here’s what Stone shared on Instagram:

Stone, who is originally from Del City, Oklahoma, currently attends IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. The Spartans have become a major contender in his recruitment.

“OU is like the place where I’m from, but Michigan State feels like home,” Stone told On3 this weekend.

Oklahoma is just one of numerous top programs who is competing with Michigan State for his commitment. Stone has also received offers from programs like Ohio State, Alabama, Ole Miss, Miami and Colorado, to name a few.

If Michigan State is able to eventually land Stone’s commitment, he would be one of the top prospects to commit to the Spartans out of high school in recent memory. He’s currently the No. 9 overall player and the No. 2 defensive lineman in the class of 2024, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

Here are some highlights from Stone’s junior season at IMG Academy:
