Goodwin committed to Kentucky back in April and officially never waivered from the school, despite having a lot of other programs reach out.
He’s considered the No. 1 player in his home state (Indiana) and the No 4 offensive tackle recruit overall, per 247Sports. Goodwin is also the No. 25 recruit in the country, regardless of position.
During the announcement, he touched on how he was grateful to hear from so many top schools, which included Michigan State and talking to head coach Mel Tucker.
In the end, Kentucky kept Goodwin as he has the chance to be quite the star.
