Michigan State's AJ Hoggard named to East Region All-Tournament Team
A.J. Hoggard is being recognized for his standout performance in the Sweet 16.
The Michigan State (position) has been named to the East Region’s All-Tournament Team. Hoggard is joined by Markquis Nowell (Kansas State), Keyontae Johnson (Kansas State), Johnell Davis (Florida Atlantic) and Vladislav Goldin (Florida Atlantic). KSU’s Nowell was named the region’s Most Outstanding Player for his performances, though FAU is the team that will represent the East Region in the Final Four.

Hoggard was MSU’s high-scorer in Thursday’s heartbreaking overtime loss to KSU. Hoggard had 25 points in the game. He led the Spartans in the 2nd half with 11 points and scored 7 more points in the overtime period.

The 2022-23 season was Hoggard’s junior year with the Spartans.
