Mel Tucker is doing his part to help Michigan State get back on the winning side on the basketball floor. The head football coach is front-and-center inside the Breslin Center.
Sporting a T-shirt and waving the towel, Tucker is situated in the heart of the Izzone — the student section for Michigan State’s basketball games. Plenty of pictures and videos circulated through Twitter on Saturday afternoon.

Michigan State has struggled severely during the month of February. The Spartans have lost five of their last six games, with the lone victory coming against Indiana. A team that was firmly in the Top 25 and in the mix for a B1G regular season title needs to pick up a few key wins.
Saturday’s game against Purdue provides the Spartans with that opportunity. Tucker wants to provide that extra spark.
