Cole Hahn’s foot earned him a scholarship. And if he plays his cards right, his foot will earn him an obvious shoe deal.

Hahn, not to be confused with the shoe company Cole Haan*, originally planned on walking on at Iowa.

But the West Des Moines (Iowa) Valley kicker announced that he accepted a scholarship offer from Michigan State:

Hahn was the 25th member to join MSU’s 2017 class, which previously lacked a kicker. Now, Iowa’s 2017 class lacks a kicker.

MSU will have to replace Michael Geiger, who was a four-year starter. Hahn will be one of at least three kickers battling for the starting job in 2017.

Whether he wins the job or not, Hahn will be a lock to make the B1G all-name team on an annual basis.
