Another Michigan State OL reportedly withdraws name from transfer portal
Michigan State offensive lineman Geno VanDeMark has withdrawn his name from the NCAA transfer portal after originally entering on December 4.
VanDeMark is the 4th Michigan State OL to withdraw his name from the portal and the 6th overall Spartan to do so, joining fellow O-linemen Ethan Boyd, Brandon Baldwin and Kristian Phillips. LB Daris Snow and receiver Jaron Glover also removed their names from the portal in the past few weeks.
The sophomore lineman started 6 of his 8 appearances for the Spartans this past season despite dealing with injury issues. He started twice his freshman season.
VanDeMark will have 2 seasons of eligibility remaining under HC Jonathan Smith.

VanDeMark stands at 6-5, 320 pounds and is a former 3-star prospect for Michigan State. The Spartans should have a solid group of protection heading into next season with the recent withdrawals from the portal.
