Auburn RB commit reveals final college decision following visit to Michigan State
Michigan State tried to pull off a big-time flip heading into the Early Signing Period.
Over the weekend, Mel Tucker and the Spartans hosted Auburn commit and 4-star running back Damari Alston in East Lansing for an official visit. According to the composite rankings, Alston is the No. 29 RB nationally for 2022 and the No. 22 player out of Georgia for the cycle.
Unfortunately, the Atlanta-area product is sticking with his initial commitment to the Tigers. Monday evening, Alston reaffirmed his commitment while shutting down his recruitment.

Even without flipping Alston, Tucker and the Spartans currently have the No. 19 recruiting class in the nation for 2022. It will be interesting to see if Michigan State can improve that number with the Early Signing Period just days away.
