Michigan State linebacker Antjuan Simmons was excellent in the Spartans’ 27-24 win over Michigan, but he apparently didn’t catch the attention of Wolverines’ QB Joe Milton on film.
Milton said after the game that Simmons “wasn’t really on my radar.”

Milton wasn’t terrible, but he wasn’t efficient, either. He completed 32-of-51 passes for 300 yards but didn’t record a touchdown through the air or on the ground. His 5.9 yards per attempt is far below average and looks especially pedestrian next to Rocky Lombardi’s 10.1 yards per attempt for the Spartans.
Simmons had more to say after the win, including a great new nickname for the Paul Bunyan Trophy that goes to the winner of this matchup every year.
Antjuan Simmons on comments that he’s not on Joe Milton’s radar:
"It don’t matter. Pauly B is back with us."
