Brian Lewerke and Darrell Stewart Jr. are getting set to finish up their Michigan State careers, but the duo will get one more opportunity to play together after the Pinstripe Bowl.

The two seniors have been instrumental to Michigan State’s offense. Lewerke has thrown for 2,753 yards and 16 touchdowns this season while adding 317 yards rushing and two more scores. Stewart is second on the team with 694 receiving yards and four scores.

Both are expected to play against Wake Forest in the Pinstripe Bowl with a shot to finish the 2019 season with a winning record. It was also announced this week that the duo will get a chance to play together for a special bowl in January.

The NFLPA Collegiate Bowl announced that both players have accepted bids to this year’s game that will be played in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 18:

The Collegiate Bowl is described as a postseason all-star game for draft-eligible players. Hopefully, Lewerke and Stewart make a good impression for moving on to the next level, but at least they will get one more game together as Spartans.

Lewerke has thrown for 7,973 yards with 46 touchdowns in his career. He has also rushed for 1,209 yards and ranks fourth all-time in passing yardage and fourth all-time in passing touchdowns for Michigan State. For his career, Stewart has 148 catches, 1,637 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns.
