Brian Lewerke drops in pretty pass, connects with Cody White for opening score vs Rutgers

Michigan State is desperate for a win in the worst way, and the Spartans are off to a good start against Rutgers.
After getting stopped on their first drive of the game, the Spartans were quick to force a quick punt by the Scarlet Knights. Quarterback Brian Lewerke and the offense took that opportunity to put points on the board.
Though Rutgers forced the Spartans into a third down play, Lewerke and company dialed up a beautiful play. Cody White ran a nice route to the corner of the endzone, and Lewerke hit him with a nice throw just inside the pylon.
White had created just enough space for this throw to get in for a touchdown:
