Bryce Baringer, a former Michigan State punter, was surprisingly one of the more impressive names at the Senior Bowl practices Tuesday afternoon. Baringer was one of the best punters in the country last season and, according to Nick Baumgardner, a writer at The Athletic, held the longest punt of the day Tuesday at an impressive 74 yards.

On top of that, Baumgardner reported that former Michigan State WR Jayden Reed had the fastest GPS time of the am session at 20.3 MPH.

And Reed held high praise for Baringer following Tuesday’s activities, saying the former Spartans punter has a “freaking moon boot on him.” What an incredible description.

Baringer had a historic season for the Spartans last year. The Ray Guy Award finalist broke the Michigan State record for punt average across a single season at 49 yards per punt. That mark is 2nd best all-time in the B1G and 6th best all-time across all of FBS.

Using a draft pick on a punter isn’t always a good idea, but Baringer might force a team to make a move on the last day of the draft if he keeps this up.
