Cam Heyward endorses versatile potential for brother Connor during NFL Combine
Michigan State’s Connor Heyward is in Indianapolis to work out for teams during the NFL Combine. Heyward will try to boost his stock enough to be selected during April’s draft or to sign with a team afterward as a free agent.
On hand for Connor’s performance was older brother Cam. The All-Pro defensive lineman of the Pittsburgh Steelers was asked what makes Connor standout for the next level.

“His versatility,” explained Cam. “He’s played tight end, fullback, running back. He even did punt return and kick return. He’s a jack of all trades, and I know he just wants to be a good football player.”
During his workouts, Connor did a nice job running the receiving gauntlet and adjusting to deep passes downfield. At this point, it sure looks like the younger Heyward will land somewhere with a solid shot to begin his NFL career.
