Love him or hate him, Mike Krzyzewski is going to go down as one of the greatest college basketball coaches of all time. Michigan State’s Tom Izzo had no trouble mentioning that following the Spartans’ first-round win over Davidson.

With a Duke-Michigan State matchup on the horizon, Izzo referred to Coach K as “The GOAT” (Greatest of all Time). On Saturday during a press conference, the 42-year leader of the Blue Devils learned about his counterpart’s comment.

“I’m glad he didn’t call me another animal,” Krzyzewski said, per Chris Solari of the Detroit Free Press.

Sunday’s Round of 32 matchup between No. 2 seed Duke and No. 7 seed Michigan State will feature to of college basketball’s top coaches. The two have had plenty of battles over the years and this weekend’s clash should be another fun one.

What makes this game so fun is the mutual respect Izzo and Krzyzewski have for each other. But once the ball is tipped, the two will be as hungry as ever to punch a ticket to the Sweet 16.

Tip-off is set for 5:15 on Sunday with the game airing on CBS.
