Coen Carr ignites Michigan State crowd with electric sequence vs. Tennessee
Coen Carr arrived in East Lansing with high expectations as a 4-star piece of Michigan State’s 2023 recruiting class. During Sunday’s scrimmage against Tennessee, Carr gave fans a glimpse of what’s in store for the 2023-24 season.
The first highlight-reel play came on a fast break with Carr cutting into the lane against the Vols. He got past one defender with a brilliant Euro step and elevated for a strong 2-handed dunk at the rim.
As the BTN broadcast noted, most other players would opt for a finger roll in this situation, but Carr was above the rim for the jam:

Later in the game, Carr put his hops on display in back-to-back plays. On the offensive end of the court, Carr elevated for an impressive flush off an alley-oop from Tyson Walker. Then, he elevated and hung in the air for what seemed like forever before an impressive swat on defense.
