College football fans react to Washington's win over No. 11 Michigan State
No. 11 Michigan State entered Saturday as a slight underdog against Washington, and the Huskies didn’t disappoint. Washington beat Michigan State 39-28 Saturday night.
Huskies quarterback Michael Penix Jr. completed 24-of-40 passes with 4 touchdowns. Wide receiver Ja’Lynn Polk caught 3 of Penix’s touchdown passes.
Meanwhile, Michigan State’s offense managed just 365 total yards, including just 42 of them on the ground.
Michigan State was looking to sweep non-conference play ahead of its Big Ten schedule; however that didn’t play out exactly as it hoped.
Following Washington’s win over Michigan State, fans took to social media.
Saturday night was Mel Tucker’s 35th game as a college football head coach. He has lost 15 of those games. Twelve by double digits. Six by 30 or more points. Four by 40 or more points.
