Connor Cook’s blindside will be a question mark on Saturday.

Michigan State left tackle Jack Conklin will be out for Saturday’s game against Purdue with a knee injury he suffered last week against Central Michigan.

Spartan coach Mark Dantonio ruled out the possibility that the preseason All-American’s injury was season-ending, but he wouldn’t confirm the severity of it. Dennis Finley will get the start in place of the senior standout.

In addition to Conklin’s absence, MSU will still be without right tackle Kodi Kieler for the third straight game. Kieler went down in the first half of Week 2 against Oregon and hasn’t played since.

On the positive side of the injury front, safety R.J. Williamson and tight end Josiah Price will be active on Saturday.
