Connor Cook did not have time to exchange any pleasantries following Michigan State’s 16-13 B1G Championship win.

When he was called to the stand to accept the B1G Championship MVP trophy, Cook didn’t have time for any song and dance:

In Cook’s defense, he did make a feeble attempt at a handshake, and it is a somewhat awkward situation. But it came off as a guy who has won a ton of trophies before that just wanted to get the next one.

And it was two-time Heisman winner Archie Griffin delivering said trophy. So there’s that.

For the record, Cook did apologize for it later after he realized what he did.

Either way, it was a semi-awkward way to close an epic night for Michigan State.
