You had to know it was coming.

Mark Dantonio doesn’t flash a particularly outgoing personality. Publicly, he’s more stoic than animated. He doesn’t provide bulletin board material and he doesn’t have the same animated demeanor of coaches like Clemson’s Dabo Swinney.

But he can dance like Dabo.

Following Michigan State’s B1G Championship victory, Dantonio busted out the dab:

Dantonio’s Spartans will play in their first ever College Football Playoff. They’ll take on SEC-Champion Alabama, which earned a conference title following a 14-point win against Florida on Saturday.

Needless to say, Dantonio’s mood will be slightly different in the coming weeks than it was on Saturday night. But if the Spartans are to beat Alabama, you can expect some more dabbing.
