The Michigan State Spartans missed out on a bowl last year. But after a 9-3 season, the Spartans will be taking on the Washing State Cougars in the Holiday Bowl. And Michigan State will come ready to play against Washington State.

“Our guys will be ready to play. I think we’re focused on that,” said coach Mark Dantonio. “We had a tough year last year. Our thought process was to make it back and change things back to the way they had been. We’ve always come ready to play. That’s the one thing that I think we pride ourselves in, that we will come ready to play.”

The game between the two teams will be held on Dec. 28 and kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET. The contest will be televised on Fox Sports 1.
