Michigan State is one of the best teams in the B1G; they are 6-0, 2-0 in B1G play and sitting at No. 10 in the AP Top-25 poll.

The Spartans have wins over Miami, Nebraska, Northwestern and Rutgers.

The Michigan State QB is a big reason why they are still undefeated. Payton Thorne can sling the ball all over the field. Thorne has 5 touchdown passes that are 60-plus yards only 6 weeks through the season that is the most since 2003.

Dwayne Haskins of Ohio State is the most recent player to have that many touchdown passes of 60-plus yards he did it back in 2018 but that was through the course of a season.

The Spartans QB has done it in 6 games and has a chance to break the record as early as Week 7, when the Spartans travel to Bloomington, IN., to take on the Indiana Hoosiers.

Thorne on the year is 98-0f-157 for a 62.4% completion rate, throwing for 1,575 yards, 14 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.

Michigan State goes on the road to take on Indiana at noon ET on FS1.
