Penn State will put its undefeated record on the line against Michigan State on Saturday. Despite Michigan State falling out of the polls in recent weeks, ESPN analyst Desmond Howard placed the Nittany Lions on upset alert.

“The last time we saw Sparty play, they got embarrassed by Wisconsin,” Howard said on ESPN’s College GameDay. “They had a week off, they’re playing at home against a Penn State team that put a lot into the win a week ago, a very emotional win over Michigan, the White Out came down to almost the final play of the game.

“Now, they’re on the road, playing against a Sparty team that beat them five of the last six times they played them. Watch out for Sparty against Penn State.”

Not only has Michigan State won four out of five in the series against Penn State, the Nittany Lions haven’t won in East Lansing since 2009. Penn State is 1-3 in its last four trips to Michigan State.

The Nittany Lions and Spartans will kick off at 3:30 ET pm.
