Draymond Green ejected after putting Rudy Gobert in a chokehold
Draymond Green was ejected from Golden State’s in-season tournament matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves Tuesday night for a very bizarre reason.
Green, who is well-known for his on-court antics, put Timberwolves start center Rudy Gobert in a chokehold in the opening minutes of the game after a scuffle ensued on the court. Obviously, Green was ejected from the game alongside Klay Thompson and Jaden McDaniels.
It’s one of the stranger scenes you’ll see at an NBA game. Check it out below:

There’s a pretty strong chance the former Spartan is going to get a lengthy suspension for that little move.
The Timberwolves went on to beat Golden State 104-101, with the Warriors down Steph Curry, Thompson and Green.
Here’s what Gobert said postgame regarding the incident and Green’s ejection:

“Every time Steph doesn’t play, he doesn’t want to play without his guy Steph so he does anything he can to get ejected.”😳
