The Golden State Warriors are up 1-0 in the Western Conference Semifinals after knocking off the Memphis Grizzlies Sunday afternoon. The Warriors had to pull out Game 1 without Draymond Green for much of the afternoon.
Early in the second quarter, Green was tagged with a Flagrant 2 foul after a play on Memphis forward Brandon Clarke. As Clarke was going up for a layup, Green fouled him on the shot attempt. Green followed up by reaching with his other hand and brought Clarke down after grabbing the front of his jersey.
As Clarke was falling, Green appeared to try and slow the fall and lessen the impact. Green was also seen trying to plead his case with officials that his fingers were caught inadvertently in Clarke’s jersey, but the Flagrant 2 was still issued on review.

The Warriors were able to rally without Green and held on in the final moments for the 117-116 win vs. the Grizzlies. Jordan Pool led the charge with 31 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists off the bench, including 5 made 3-pointers.
