Draymond Green joins historic NBA Finals list following Game 2 performance

Love him or hate him, Draymond Green has proved to be an integral glue guy for the Golden State Warriors throughout his NBA career. Now playing in his 6th NBA Finals series, Green turned in another balanced performance as the Warriors dominated the Boston Celtics in a Game 2 win.

As Stephen Curry led the way with a game-high 29 points and Jordan Poole drilled a thrilling buzzer-beater, Green chipped in a stat line of 9 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists, a steal and a block. He also joined some historic company for the Finals.

During Game 2, Green climbed into the top-10 all-time for assists in the Finals. He is now top-10 in both assists and steals fur the Finals.

That puts Green alongside LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson and Scottie Pippen as players to rank in the top-10 for both categories.

Now, Green will try to finish off the year with his 4th NBA Finals championship.
