Draymond Green makes NCAA Tournament bet with Steph Curry
Draymond Green is not one to miss an opportunity to have some good-natured ribbing with a teammate, and in this case, it’s Steph Curry.
With Michigan State facing Davidson in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, Green on his podcast this week said that if the Spartans beat Davidson, where Curry played college basketball, the former NBA MVP will be forced to wear the full mascot costume of Sparty to an upcoming Golden State Warriors game.
“There will be some good bets, there will be a monetary bet, there will be a bet with Steph Curry walking into the game in the Sparty costume,” Green said. “Not just my jersey, not just a Michigan State T-Shirt, he will come to the game as the Michigan State mascot. Sparty, that’s what it’s going to be.”

Green did not reveal his potential punishment should Michigan State lose the Friday night matchup, but he didn’t exactly seem worried about that possibility.
“We are going to destroy Steph Curry’s Davidson Wildcats,” Green said.
Coach Tom Izzo, for one, saw this kind of thing coming.
“I know Draymond and Steph are probably having a field day out there,” Spartans coach Tom Izzo said on Sunday night, minutes after the matchup was announced. “(Steve) Mariucci and I bet dollars, they probably bet hundreds of thousands of dollars on the game. That’s the difference in being from the U.P. and in the NBA.”
