Elijah Collins, formerly of Michigan State, took to Twitter on Saturday to announce his new team.

Collins will be transferring to Oklahoma State to play for the Cowboys in 2023. Collins played 5 seasons for the Spartans, with his best season coming in 2019. In that season, Collins had 988 rush yards and 5 TDs.

Collins was initially a 3-star recruit out of the University of Detroit Jesuit High School in the class of 2018.

During the 2022 season, Collins had 70 rushes for 318 yards and 6 TDs and also caught 14 passes for 93 yards. Jalen Berger overtook the main running back role for the Spartans this past season after transferring from Wisconsin while Collins served as the backup.

Collins was not the only player from the B1G to commit to the Cowboys on Saturday. Former Iowa WR Arland Bruce IV also announced his commitment to Oklahoma State. Collins and Bruce will seek to improve the Cowboys’ 52nd-ranked offense from 2022.
