One of the best games around the B1G going into Week 3 is Michigan State-Miami.

The Spartans have started their season out 2-0 with convincing wins over Northwestern and Youngtown State, while Miami struggled out of the gate by getting creamed by Alabama. They followed that loss up by barely squeaking by Appalachian State (25-23).

Miami is now ranked No. 24 in the country and because of that, they’re favored in this matchup.

According to ESPN’s FPI, MSU has just a 34.3% chance of winning against the Hurricanes.

That seems to be a bit too low, based on what has transpired thus far. The Spartans have blown the doors off their opposition in both games while Miami has struggled mightily in theirs. Granted, Miami did have to play Alabama in their opening game but they haven’t looked nearly as sharp as MSU has.

Miami is 4-0 all time against the Spartans.

We’ll have to see if the FPI is correct when the 2 teams kickoff at Noon ET this Saturday on ABC.
