Former Michigan State cornerback Chris Jackson has officially announced his transfer commitment.

Jackson has committed to Washington State as he announced it on his Twitter Thursday evening:

Jackson didn’t play much during the 2020 season for the Spartans as he only started in two games. He played against Michigan and Rutgers before getting hurt which forced him to miss times.

Overall, Jackson played in 190 snaps this season and had nine tackles and a pass breakup, according to the Detroit Free Press. Five of those tackles were solo.

He didn’t play much during the 2019 season either as he only had one tackle. Jackson will be looking to compete for a starting job with the Cougars, especially after this past season was derailed by injuries.

Before Jackson originally committed to Michigan State, he was considered a three-star prospect on 247Sports. He was part of the class of 2018 and was ranked as the 51st best cornerback in the country and the 511th ranked player nationally.
