A former Michigan State wide receiver, who left East Lansing for Kentucky, is on the move again.

Monday, Miami (OH) announced the addition of Tre’Von Morgan, who will be joining the team ahead of the 2022 season. It will be the receiver’s third stop after initially beginning his career at Michigan State.

Morgan spent the first two years of his college career with the Spartans, leaving the team following the 2020 campaign. During his two seasons in East Lansing, he played in 3 games and caught 2 passes for 46 yards and a touchdown.

That all came in the pandemic-reduced 2020 campaign. He redshirted his first year with the program.

Following his two-year run in East Lansing, Morgan transferred to Kentucky. He did not see any action during the 2021 season, per his bio on Kentucky’s website.

With the redshirt year and the NCAA’s blanket waiver for all student-athletes in 2020, Morgan will still have three years of eligibility to use at Miami (OH).
