Luke Fulton has officially announced his transfer destination as he’s heading to Kentucky of the SEC.

Wildcats head coach Mark Stoops also welcomed him to the program shortly before Fulton put his tweet out:

It was reported back in January that he was going to be transferring to the Wildcats before he made it official.

Fulton was a linebacker at Michigan State before entering the transfer portal in November. He redshirted in 2019 and then didn’t appear in any games for the Spartans this past season either.

Before committing to MSU, Fulton was considered a three-star prospect as per 247Sports. He was in the class of 2019 and was rated as the 15th best player in Ohio. Fulton also was considered the 23rd best inside linebacker prospect in the country and the 424th best recruit nationally.

Other schools that were recruiting him during the class of 2019 included: Northwestern, Akron, Army, and Ball State.
