Official felony charges have been filed against Miles Bridges related to a June arrest.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski with ESPN, three felony domestic violence charges have been filed against Bridges after being accused of assaulting his girlfriend in June. That assault reportedly occurred in front of their two children.

Per ESPN, DA George Gascon said the charges are one felony count of injuring a child’s parent and two felony counts of child abuse under circumstances or conditions likely to cause great bodily injury or death. The release from the DA notes that the children were present for the alleged assault but did not include any other specification for what the child abuse counts stem from.

“Domestic violence creates physical, mental and emotional trauma that has a lasting impact on survivors,” Gascon said. “Children who witness family violence are especially vulnerable and the impact on them is immeasurable.”
