For a second straight week, Michigan State's Jayden Reed takes punt return to the house
Jayden Reed did it again.
One week after he had a clutch 64-yard punt return against Nebraska, the redshirt junior wide receiver ran a punt back 88 yards against Western Kentucky Saturday night.

Reed, the reigning B1G Special Teams Player of the Week, now has 2 punt return touchdowns to go with his 1 rushing touchdown and 4 receiving touchdowns this season. Mel Tucker certainly has a guy who can do it all.
The play keeps with Michigan State’s trend of scoring on its first play — or, in this case, close to it. Kenneth Walker III ran 75 yards on the first play of the season against Northwestern. The Spartans ran a flea flicker on their first play against Youngstown State in Week 2.
Reed’s kickoff return counts as a 75-yard touchdown on the first play, right? It should.
Michigan State currently leads Western Kentucky 14-0 in the 1st quarter on FS1.
