After a stint with the Pittsburgh Maulers in the USFL, Shakur Brown is joining the Tennessee Titans. The news was reported on by Jim Wyatt of tennesseetitans.com.
Brown went undrafted in the 2021 NFL Draft. He spent time with the Kansas City Chiefs, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Detroit Lions in 2021. Brown was on the practice squad with the Chiefs and Lions.
The Spartans CB appeared in 26 games while in East Lansing. Brown had 38 solo tackles, 16 assisted, 2 tackles for loss, and 7 interceptions. He also played in the return game as freshman back in 2018.
Brown is a versatile option of corner, as he played snaps at both corner and nickelback while in college. The Titans could use him in a variety of ways. He is reuniting with former college teammate Naquan Jones.
