Former Michigan State OL activated off PUP list
Former Michigan State offensive lineman Jack Conklin was activated off the PUP (physically unable to perform) list for the Cleveland Browns Monday afternoon.
Conklin missed about half of the 2021 season for the Browns with a right knee injury (torn patella) and is one of the top talents on the Cleveland line when healthy. The news, via Jake Trotter of ESPN, is a huge boost for a Browns franchise that is as hard to get a read on as any in the NFL.
The 6-foot-6, 308-pound tackle has seen plenty of snaps in the professional ranks after anchoring the Spartan line in 2014 and 2015. He was selected 8th overall by the Tennessee Titans in 2016 and signed with the Browns in 2020 after the Titans declined his 5th-year option.
