Australian punter Jack Bouwmeester left Michigan State and entered the transfer portal in September of 2020, and has now found a new team. He last played in East Lansing in 2019.

Bouwmeester announced from his social media account on Thursday that he’ll be taking his talents to Utah. He never played in a single game for the Spartans, as he redshirted during the 2019 season.  Bouwmeester was a former 3-star punter prospect in high school per the 247Sports Composite.

This is what he had to say about his decision:

“I am stoked to announce that I have committed & signed with the University of Utah on full-scholarship for this fall,” said Bouwmeester. “Thank you to Coach Whittingham, Shah & Swan for this unreal opportunity. Go Utes.”
