Former Michigan State running back Kenneth Walker III is having a big game for his Seattle Seahawks in NFL Week 7. Heading into the 4th quarter, the talented RB already has 2 touchdowns and 82 total yards.

The way Walker scored his 2nd TD was impressive. Seahawks QB Geno Smith located Walker on a wheel route out of the backfield and lobbed the ball up for the RB. Walker fully extended and brought the ball in for a 17-yard score. The score put the Seahawks up 24-14 over the Atlanta Falcons.

Walker picked the perfect time to have a big game, as today is the RB’s birthday. This is the 2nd game in 2024 where Walker has scored multiple TDs.

Before the RB starred for the Seahawks, he starred for the Spartans. Walker transferred to Michigan State for the 2021 season after spending his first 2 seasons of college at Wake Forest.

In Walker’s lone season with the Spartans, the RB rushed for 1,636 yards with 18 TDs. Walker also caught 13 passes for 89 yards and 1 TD. The RB was a Unanimous All-American, won the Walter Camp and Doak Walker Awards, and was the Big Ten Running Back of the Year.

After that impressive season, the Seahawks selected Walker in the 2nd round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Walker immediately made his mark in Seattle, earning a spot on the PFWA All-Rookie Team in 2022.

Walker’s Seahawks are enjoying a 31-14 over the Falcons in the 4th quarter.
