Johnson signed with MSU as part of the Spartans’ 2021 recruiting class, but was dismissed after he was arrested and charged for extortion directing or promoting sexual performance by a child. Michigan State cut ties with Johnson in April 2021.
Johnson indicated earlier this month he had received a new opportunity.
