Former Michigan State and current Seattle Seahawks defensive lineman Malik McDowell was reportedly arrested following a dispute at a club in Atlanta, Georgia. He was charged with disorderly conduct.

TMZ Sports reported that McDowell was taken into custody after an officer witnessed him getting into a verbal altercation outside of a club. The dispute was over money, according to the report. He was kicked out of the club on multiple occasions.

McDowell was booked for disorderly conduct and was released on $325 bond.

This was McDowell’s rookie season in Seattle after being selected in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft. However, the defensive lineman wasn’t on the active roster because of an auto accident that occurred earlier this season.

At Michigan State, McDowell was a Freshman All-American in 2014 and was a two-time Second-team All-B1G selection (2015, 2016). He opted to forgo his senior season and declare for the draft.
