During the 2020 season, Stewart saw action in 4 games on special teams. This past season, Stewart played in 3 contests on both special teams and at wide receiver. He had 1 catch for 8 yards in Michigan State’s win over Youngstown State.
The Spartans finished the year with an 11-2 record.
As a high school recruit, Stewart was a 3-star prospect out of Rockwood, Mich. He was listed as the No. 104 receiver in the class and was a Top 20 prospect out of Michigan. He committed to MSU over offers from 28 other programs.
Stewart joins a Temple team that is undergoing a coaching change. The Owls replaced Rod Carey with former Texas running backs coach and run game coordinator Stan Drayton.
Temple ended the 2021 season with a 3-9 record.
