Former Michigan State wide receiver Felton Davis III is going to get his chance in the NFL.
Davis went undrafted over the weekend, but signed a free agent NFL contract on Saturday with the Kansas City Chiefs. He’ll attempt to prove that he deserves a roster spot at the professional level, despite not getting selected in one of the seven rounds.

Davis was regarded as one of the B1G’s top receivers over the last two years but suffered an Achilles heel injury that ended his 2018 season at the midway point. That injury has been a red flag for many teams in the NFL.
Last year, Davis had 31 receptions for 474 yards and four touchdowns in seven games. He ended his career at Michigan State with 1,450 yards and 14 touchdowns on 100 catches.
