Michigan State adds a cornerback to its class of 2022. Caleb Coley will be trading in the black and gold for the green and white.

Coley is a 3-star recruit from Houston County High School in Warner Robins, Georgia. The Michigan State football account announced the signing on Twitter Wednesday morning.

He was previously committed to Vanderbilt in the summer of 2021. He was the highest-rated recruit in the Commodores’ Class of 2022.

Coley is the 410th-ranked player nationally, and the 43rd-best at his position. In his home state of Georgia, he is the 42nd-best ranked player per the 247Sports Composite. Coley was considering some B1G schools as well. He chose the Spartans over Northwestern and Wisconsin from the B1G.
