Here we go again: MSU bringing back polarizing neon uniform combo for Week 11
They say variety is the spice of life, and over in East Lansing the No. 8 Michigan State football team likes to mix it up when it comes to uniforms.
The Spartans have released a video with their color scheme for this weekend’s matchup and they’re bringing back the “neon green” look.

A couple weeks back the Spartans donned an all-green look and it did the job with an exciting 37-33 win over No. 9 Michigan. Taking to the road against Purdue they went all-white and that didn’t go so well, suffering their first loss in a 40-29 upset.
This week’s neon green look will harken back to their debut back in 2019, with the uniforms featuring “STATE” in neon lettering across the jerseys. The Spartans came away with a 51-17 win against Western Michigan.
The alternate combo has been used several times since, garnering rampant criticism or praise depending upon which side of the MSU fence the critic sits.
Take a look, and make your own decision.
