Jacoby Windmon has been Michigan State’s best player this season.

The UNLV transfer has, quite literally, been all over the place for the Spartans through Week 2. Let’s run through his numbers so far this year: 4 forced fumbles, 5.5 sacks and 6.5 tackles for loss in 2 games. That’s more sacks and forced fumbles than most guys see throughout an entire season

Windmon ranks No. 1 in the country in all 3 categories listed above.

And Windmon has always been a force. He just hasn’t been a household name because he was playing in the Mountain West. He totaled 119 tackles for the Running Rebels last season, 13th most in the nation and the 3rd most in the conference.

Michigan State got a good one.
