Jamari Howard is an interesting cornerback prospect for the class of 2024. On Monday, he revealed his college commitment.

After drawing a host of Power 5 offers from across the country that included Alabama, Florida State and Miami, Howard committed to Mel Tucker’s Michigan State program. Listed at 6-foot-2 and 175 lbs., Howard has intriguing size on the outside.

According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Howard is a 4-star prospect and the No. 16 CB nationally. Howard is also a top-200 player in the country, checking in at No. 171 overall for the class of 2024.

It is still the very early going for the class of 2024, and Howard becomes just the second firm commitment for the Spartans in the cycle. He joins fellow 4-star WR Nick Marsh as early pledges for Mel Tucker’s program.
