Jarrett Horst came off the board early in the USFL College Draft Tuesday.

The Michigan Panthers are gearing up for the 2023 USFL season. On Tuesday, the Panthers kicked off the 2023 USFL College Draft with the No. 1 overall selection.

Michigan stayed in-state, looking toward Mel Tucker’s Michigan State program for the top pick in the draft with Horst becoming the selection.

After beginning his career at Arkansas State, Horst transferred to East Lansing for the 2021 season and utilized a 5th year in 2022. He started 15 games at left tackle for the Spartans across those two seasons. Horst also has 34 career starts at the position across both destinations.

We’ll see how Horst performs at the USFL level. Hopefully, he can make an impression with an eye on a potential training camp invite in the NFL.
