Richardson was able to score those 16 points despite playing only 15 minutes. He was incredibly efficient from the field, as he finished 5-of-7 while going 2-of-3 from the 3-point line.
He is providing the Spartans with bench scoring and has scored at least 12 points in 4 of his last 5 games. Leading the Spartans was Jaden Akins, who finished with 18 points.
Michigan State moved to 8-2 on the season, with its lone losses being to No. 1 Kansas and No. 16 Memphis. The Spartans will be off for a while, as their next game will be on Dec. 17 at home against Oakland.
